Your “Caught in the Trees Demos and Outtakes” is an amazing listen. I love the genesis of these songs. They stand alone on their own. At this stage of the process they were already well constructed.
Very curious where you were mentally, physically, temporally, even spiritually when these were written and recorded. Within a certain deliberate time frame or overlap?
Were some songs constructed from parts of songs or ideas that were abandoned… interesting parts or progressions that sit latent and filed away, that then fit perfectly into another song to make it whole?
These are just my thoughts and musings as I listen in real time, no need or expectation to answer.
