I was going through some recordings this afternoon and came across a demo for a song that I thought might be a good fit for my album “Reggae Film Star", titled “In The Shallow End”. I remember at the time liking both the melody and the mood, but it felt more like an idea than an actual song. This happens often. A lot of my songs start this way. Sometimes it’s enough, and so they stay. Others just hang around temporarily, and then find their way back to wherever they came from. “I’ll let the dark decide”.

I think it stands on its own, but like other songs you've recorded and produced (like Sheets), I think this might be another one of those evolving songs. Admittedly, I'll love all versions of it, just like Sheets.
great song!
