I have been getting a lot of emails from fans over the last few months who are wondering when I will be coming back to the midwest, east coast, and overseas again.
thanks for the heads up - i respect yer decision - so happy that i got to see you for the first time all those yrs ago with rosie thomas and saxon shore and VERY VERY happy that my father and i were able to attend one of yer shows together - he is a HUGE fan of yers after overhearing me playing yer music for all these yrs
really looking forward to what you and yer crew cook up in the studio next - all the best Damien!
So very grateful for all the shows over all the years in the Midwest - including IA, IL, MO, IN, and MN. And now we'll just have that much extra motivation to finally make the trip out to the west coast to see you there! ❤️❤️❤️
I just can say that your gigs in Madrid along these past years are among my best musical memories of live music. I feel sad but i am also happy for witnessing your live performances all over these years. Thanks.
I'm eternally grateful that I had the chance to see you play so many times over the years (lots of times in Seattle when I lived there, once in Stockholm when unbelievably I just happened to be there, and *just last week(!)* in San Diego). It's always an amazing experience and not to sound trite, but the shows have all truly been special — beautiful, entertaining and just so damn great. Who could blame you for taking an indefinite hiatus (it must be exhausting, even when it's great)?! I'm just grateful that you'll still be writing, recording and releasing your music. So thank you, Damien.
Fully respect your decision. So glad I took the opportunity to see you in When I could across Europe in Dublin, London, Berlin, Hamburg, Oslo, Leuven, Ghent and Madrid.
Your solo show in Boston during the Jason Isbell tour is one of the most beautiful and impactful experiences ofy life. While I'm sad I may not have that opportunity again, I sure thank you for sharing it with us.
Grateful that I got to see you on your first UK tour with The Handsome Family back in 1999 and then on your last UK tour with Dana Gavanski, 21 years later - plus the many times in between. Thank you x
You do what is right for you!! You deserve it.

Looks like I’m making a trip! So glad I’ve gotten to see you twice in Chicago. Especially at Sleeping Village last year! ❤️

Sounds like a sensible decision. Very grateful for the times I’ve been able to see you here in Leeds, UK
